Which team has a better chance of winning their first Super Bowl in their franchise history?

Minnesota Vikings or the New Orleans Saints? I am not clear out Colts or Jets, because they have already won the Super Bowl already Eventhough are not airplanes and # xeb; won a SB since 1968, when they had Joe Namath. Anyway, Saints and Vikings play the NFC Championship, if the Saints win, they will be their first Super Bowl. If the Vikings win, it will be their 4th Super Bowl appearance. They were Vikings in Super Bowl 3 times in 1970, but they have lost all general & ata.Në # xeb; as Vikings or Saints?

saints 24 – jets 17…this answer your question?

Not only are the Vikings 0-4 in the Super Bowl, they have NEVER even had a lead in any of the games they were in.

I’m going with the Saints this year.

I think the Saints have a slight advantage since they’ve got the homefield advantage for the NFC championship. They are both good teams, but both also have some issues. I really don’t know what to expect from this game right now. It should be a great game.

The Vikings. Saints are overrated. Played only 2 teams in the normal season with a winning record and lost to one of them. Their big plays are because they are against teams with corners and safeties 40 yards out of position. The Saints had the easiest schedule in the NFL this year. Unfortunately either team would lose to the Colts.

Actually, the Vikings are 0-4 in Super Bowls. The Buffalo Bills are also 0-4, however, they went 4 times in a row and lost. I think that both the Vikings and the Saints have an equal chance to reach the SB and either will beat the AFC team that makes it.

There are a few firsts that can be achieved this year in the playoffs. The Jets have never won an AFC title, they went to the Super Bowl as the AFL Champion. The Vikings have never won a Super Bowl, they played in Super Bowl IV, VIII, IX, and XI, and lost to the Chiefs, Dolphins, Steelers, and Raiders. The Saints have never played in a Super Bowl, which means that the never won one. The Jets won their Super Bowl against the Colts, now they’re playing against the Colts for the chance to go to the Super Bowl. I think that the Super Bowl will be Saints vs Colts.

I’d have to go with the Saints

The Saints. A complete football team. The Vikings have some holes, but still a great team. Either way, the NFC is going to win the Super Bowl.

I haven’t watched enough football this year to know how the two teams match up, but I wouldn’t bet against Farve, especially playing in a dome.

Which is better: a Super Bowl victory for your favorite team or your candidate is to become President & Prefs # xe9; ence?

For example, say you’re a hardcore Giants fan and you really want to vote for Barack Obama too. If you could choose one First you get Super Bowl-winning Giants or Obama becomes president the United States?

Depends on the Candidate, but usually would prefer my team to win. Face it a President can only do what Congress will agree to. The President can’t get a Bill started in Congress, it requires a Congressman to start it. Then Congress has to get it moving and get a majority to support it. Only then does the President get to sign off on it. Some Presidents will be charming or have a strong enough personality to get the bills started and through Congress on their own. Usually though they need to work with Congress. Having the candidate you want to have win is great though.

This is horrible to say but the way I feel right now is just GREAT and seeing someone become the President wont have the same effect on me.

Sure, I have a favorite in the Presidential race but if they win or lose, it wont really effect me too much.

President..super bowl winners don’t make a difference to your daily life, but your president will make a difference for 4-8 years!

Oh gee, like if a sports team wins it means anything at all to anyone, while in Politics it means everything.

I’d say go Giants!! Don’t think it matters too much who the Prez is. You can see where my priorities are right?

What Would Look Better, Bamboo Or Wood Blinds?

They would be for the living room. The couches are color chocolate, so are the center and side tables (just a little darker). The wood blinds would be the same color as the couches. The bamboo blinds would be a dark beige, with chocolate color designs, those would match the couches.
By the way, there are two window in the living room, one big one and one smaller.
What do you think? Which ones do you think would look better?

Bamboo, I have Bamboo blinds and I love them. Also, bamboo tends to be cheaper!

    • Barbara S 12:50 am on January 22, 2010 Permalink | Reply

I think the bamboo blinds because you don’t want the room to be to dark. Add alittle contrast.

I have been looking at new homes recently and they have the 2″ wood blinds in them and I have fallen in love with them. They block out light real well and look very nice. The bamboo blinds seem easy to fray, not as clean looking as wood blinds. Good Luck

I say go for the one that does not match the other colors to closely.. you want people to notice the blinds… but at the same time.. you don’t want window covers that say “look at me” in a bad, gawdy.. ugly way…

      Bamboo would be better

    • happytra 4:09 pm on January 21, 2010 Permalink | Reply

Bamboo. I think it’s good to go lighter in the windows… makes the room look bigger.

    • livysmom 11:53 am on January 21, 2010 Permalink | Reply

bamboo would look better, plus they are from a renewable source which is more friendly to the environment.

    • bambamm_ 8:17 am on January 21, 2010 Permalink | Reply

I think that the bamboo would be more visually interesting, and not too matchy-matchy with the couches.
It depends, though, on the overall look you’re going for. If your look is “country”, then bamboo would just be weird! If you’re going for a contemporary (Pottery Barn-esque) look or an Asian-influenced “zen retreat” feel, then I think bamboo blinds would definitely be the best fit. ;)

i say bamboo because they are hard to break and they look really good

    • brownsug 5:56 am on January 21, 2010 Permalink | Reply

I would go with white. You have too much dark.

    • Jonathan C 4:38 am on January 21, 2010 Permalink | Reply

Wood blinds I have bamboo and i hate them there to hard to clean. best of luck! They would probably both look fine.

    • Pctbass 12:29 am on January 21, 2010 Permalink | Reply

I would have the bamboo blinds. The dark beige would break the chocolate colour from the couches, yet with the designs makes it match. Bamboo might be more expensive but if so, definitely worth it! Hope it goes well!
